Strategic Outlook
The Company is currently embarking on business diversification plan for strategic repositioning towards meeting increasing market demands. The worldwide economic meltdown coupled with unfavorable manufacturing conditions evident in high cost of funding, low capacity utilization, inadequate infrastructure and increase in overhead, making it imperative for the Company to diversify its business interests.
The Gemini Pharmaceuticals has therefore decided to diversify its business interests as follows:
- Manufacturing: The Company plans to commence the manufacturing of selected new Ethical OTC targeting the domestic and international markets (Asia and Europe) in 2014.
- Importation and sale of finished products, with objective of launching some new drugs into the market.
- Products Distribution: The Company plans to construct and operate the first GMP Compliant Warehouse in West Africa. This warehouse will serve as a hub for storage of pharmaceutical products and distribution, servicing both the local and foreign customers and other stakeholders in the industry.
